Terms & Conditions

1. Reservations

Reservations may be made via phone / website / email / facebook/ instagram.  A reservation is confirmed only once you receive confirmation from us. We will make reasonable efforts to honour your requested date, time and party size, but reservations are subject to availability.

2. Pre-Orders and Set Menus

Certain dishes including the crab feast (sea crab and mud crab curry) and other pre-order items — and private dining and group set menus require advance notice of 12 hours and may require confirmation of final guest numbers in advance. Pricing for daily-price items (such as mud crab) is confirmed at the time of order.

3. Cancellations and No-Shows

Standard table reservations Reservations can be amended or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before the booking time. For bookings of 8 guests or more, we ask for at least 48 hours' notice. We hold tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time, after which the table may be released.

Private dining, group set menus and events These bookings require a deposit of 50% of the estimated total to confirm. The deposit is fully refundable if cancelled at least 7 days before the event, 50% refundable between 7 days and 48 hours before, and non-refundable within 48 hours of the event. Final guest numbers must be confirmed at least 72 hours in advance; charges are based on the confirmed number or the number attending, whichever is greater.

4. Prices, Service Charge and Taxes

All prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and are subject to a 10% service charge and applicable government taxes unless otherwise stated. Menu items and prices are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability.

5. Allergens and Dietary Requirements

Vegan (VE) and vegetarian (V) items are marked on our menus, and many dishes can be adapted. While we take care to accommodate dietary requirements notified to us in advance, our kitchen handles allergens including nuts, shellfish, dairy, gluten and others, and we cannot guarantee any dish is entirely free from a given allergen or from cross-contact. Guests with allergies or dietary requirements must inform us before ordering, and dine at their own discretion.

6. Payment

Accepted payment methods are cash / cards / voucher. Payment is due on completion of the meal / per deposit terms for private events.

7. Conduct and Right of Admission

We reserve the right of admission and may refuse service or ask a guest to leave where conduct affects the safety, comfort or enjoyment of other guests or staff.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, menus and branding is the property of table by nyne - the beach and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.

9. Website Use

This website is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, but do not warrant that menus, prices, availability or other details are error-free or up to date. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content.

10. Privacy

Your use of this website and our handling of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy . By making a reservation you consent to us using your details to manage your booking.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your reservation applies.
